At Kettle Valley Memorial, we take great pride in caring for our families and will work tirelessly to provide you with all the options available so that you are able to make informed decisions. Whether a family is making arrangements for a burial, cremation, designing a grave marker or making prearrangements, one of our professional staff members will help you through the entire process. We provide you with options that suit your needs and the needs of your loved one. In addition to serving families when they are in need, we also pay close attention and assist families after the service. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time. We have a wide range of resources through Kettle Valley Memorial with our community partners.

The following is a list of different resources we offer to families at no obligation. Please call us at 250-493-2929 so we can help you through this process.

On behalf of yourself and your loved one, we will fill out all the necessary paperwork to get the ball rolling regarding the estate. Not only will we will prepare the following documents for you, we will also mail them to all the necessary agencies. We will notify and apply for the following:

CPP Death Benefit, CPP Survivors Pension, Social Insurance Number, Drivers License/ID card, Elections Canada, Equifax, TransUnion, BC Health Care Card, GST/HST Tax Return, Service Canada and Passport Canada.

Grief Counselling

We offer private and confidential grief counselling to anyone that feels they need the support.

Did you know that grief counselling can be covered through assistance for adults but not for children. That is why we are proud to support Compassion In Action Child and Youth Grief Support Services. This is a free service to the children and one that we at Kettle Valley Memorial are proud to support. For more information please call us at 250-493-2929 or email

Hotel Reservations

Are you coming to Penticton? We have an amazing partnership with the Penticton Lakeside Resort and Conference Centre and have a special room rate available to families that need a place to stay. We will book a room for you and make sure that everything is taken care of when you arrive. The staff at The Penticton Lakeside Resort will take care of your every need.

Ordering Flowers

We make it easy for friends and family to send flowers to your home or service to honor your loved one. We have partnered with Passionate Blooms Floral to offer the convenience of ordering directly from the obituary page of our website. You can also use this feature to select the flowers you would like at the service. This is a secure way to choose beautiful arrangements from the privacy and comfort of your home.

Death  Cafe

Death CafĂ© is a "Social Franchise" where people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Our objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. Meeting are held on the first Wednesday of every month. For more information please go to our facebook page @kettlevalleymemorial
